The Center for Spanish Studies at Rovira i Virgili University is offering the Spanish Language and Culture Summer School in the month of July 2017. This intensive course for Spanish language students consists of 4 hours of Spanish language class a day, complemented with a program of excursions and activities to keep practicing the language during your free time.
Our Summer School is based in the Project Based Learning, a methodology that underlines the cooperative learning and stimulates the independence of the learner.
Furthermore, the project we will be working on are related to the cultural visits and, in this way, classroom and reality come together in the practice of the language and what has been learn within four walls gains all significance when the student uses it in real context.
Our program includes three excursions which take place on Saturdays to the most interesting places in the region. Besides, during the week there will be optional activities for the students who wish to share their free time, such as guided visits to the city, cultural or sports activities.
The Center for Hispanic Studies is made up of a specialist team of professionals with a solid background in the training of education professionals in Spanish as a Foreign Language. Employing their many years of experience in education and academic research, the team have created a broad catalog of modern, top-quality educational programs to satisfy the increasing demand for Spanish language studies around the world.
The participants will be divided in groups according to their language skills (entry levels A2-B2), and will work in groups of 12 students maximum, which allows for a personalized learning process.
The course is open to students from all over the world, you will benefit from this international atmosphere to practice language and get to know together the local culture.
