Tarragona

The city of Tarragona is located in the Northeast of Spain approximately 100 kilometers South of Barcelona. The province of Tarragona benefits from a privileged geographic situation on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and is favored by a moderate climate practically all year round. In the month of September, the average temperature is 21º C.

Tarraco, the current Tarragona, was the first Roman military establishment outside the Italian peninsula. The complex of historic Roman monuments in Tarragona was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO on November 30th, 2000.

Reus

Located around 20 minutes far from Tarragona, Reus is a typical Catalan city, with a Mediterranean touch, well known for its shopping, modernist heritage, and its close relationship to the universal Antoni Gaudí, the architect of the Expiatory temple of the Holy Family (Sagrada Familia) from Barcelona. Reus, Gaudí's birthplace, has also conserved the more emblematic sites of the architect's childhood and youth, which you can get to know by taking a stroll along the Gaudí route, as well as a modern interpretation center, the Gaudí Centre Reus, dedicated exclusively to the life and works of the genius.
