RICTA-2014, the 2nd Iberian Meeting on Aerosol Science and Technology, will take place at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, in Tarragona, Spain, during 7-9 July 2014.

Organized by the Universitat Rovira i Virgili in collaboration with AECYTA, the Asociación Española de Ciencia y Tecnología de Aerosoles, RICTA-2014 follows on the footsteps of the first RICTA-2013 conference held in Évora-Portugal, as well as of the Spanish RECTA conferences held since 2007.  As in previous editions, and ever since the III RECTA held in Bilbao in 2009, the participation of young researchers is especially encouraged with the V Summer School on Aerosol Science and Technology. RICTA-2014 also coincides with the VII RECTA.

The aims of the RICTA-2014 conference are:

• To bring together Aerosol Science and Technology researchers from the Iberian Peninsula
• To foster the free exchange of views on any topic in the field of Aerosol Science and Technology
• To provide a forum for Spanish and Portuguese groups active in aerosol research, where existing ties can be strengthened, and the establishment of new cooperative ventures is facilitated.
• To contribute to the development of junior scientists, by encouraging their presentation of high quality research, and by their assistance to the Summer School.
