2nd Trans Pyrenean Meeting in Catalysis

Home

Catalysis is a key technology for manufacturing new products through sustainable processes. New challenges in catalysis concern the discovery of new processes and the design of more efficient and stable catalysts, providing high activity and specific selectivity by understanding the catalytic cycle and mechanistic aspects. Nowadays one of the main challenges for chemists is the development of catalysts for industrial application as well as for the transformation of renewable resources to replace part of the fossil fuels consumption. After the successful 1st edition of TraPCat (Toulouse, 2016), TraPCat2 aims to bring together researchers from the groups working in catalysis on both sides of the Pyrenees and beyond, together with the contribution of invited speakers. TraPCat2 aims to be a meeting with contributions on homogeneous, heterogeneous, nano and organocatalysis, being a forum for discussion and contacts in the field of catalysis, promoting the participation of young researchers
