The Upskilling Course on Flexible and Organic Electronics (UCFLOE) will provide training in this field to professionals from both academia and industry. It will target, among other topics, new materials, technology development, printing processes, architectures, devices, modeling, parameter extraction, sensors and systems,circuits, integration, and TCAD and EDA tools.
The field of the flexible and organic electronics has considerably progressed in the last 15 years. It is expected that the printed electronics industry will grow to over $ 300K million in 2027 (IDTechEx). Printed and flexible electronic devices and circuits must be much more complex capabilities. Also optoelectronic devices such as light emitting organic devices and organic solar cells have a rapid growth in the clean energy market and are expected to play an important role in the near future in markets such as textiles buildings, notebook computers, transport, health and at home, among others.
UCFLOE will be held on November 24-25 2022 in Tarragona (Catalonia, Spain). To guarantee the viability of the lectures, we will organize hybrid lectures with physical and remote presentations. To conduct the lectures of this course, we invited four recognized experts from the academia, research institutions and industry to deliver lectures, share their experiences and future perspective on this topic.
The organizer of UCFLOE is the ED Spain Chapter. In addition, this event is co-organized by several Spanish companies and technological centres.
Besides, we have the support of the Electronic Engineering Department and the School of Engineering as well the University Rovira i Virgili (URV).
